Fars.ir is tracked by us since April, 2011. Over the time it has been ranked as high as 1 818 599 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from Iran, where it reached as high as 62 583 position. It was owned by several entities, from Ostandari Fars to Fars Province, it was hosted by Govermetal Org and Cultural heritags handicraft and turism of Fars province. While was its first registrar, now it is moved to NIC-IR.

Fars has a decent Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Fars.ir is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to MyWot, Siteadvisor and Google safe browsing analytics, Fars.ir is quite a safe domain with no visitor reviews.
