Over the time it has been ranked as high as 355 799 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from Germany, where it reached as high as 149 760 position. It was owned by several entities, from improware ag Mr. DNSAdmin noc@imp.ch to ImproWare AG, it was hosted by RIPE Network Coordination Centre and Improware AG. While CADIWARE AG was its first registrar, now it is moved to Inic GmbH.

Imp has a decent Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Imp.com is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to MyWot, Siteadvisor and Google safe browsing analytics, Imp.com is a suspicious domain with no visitor reviews.
