Over the time it has been ranked as high as 21 903 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from Russian Federation, where it reached as high as 7 284 position. It was owned by several entities, from netBridge Limited to LLC "V Kontakte", it was hosted by RIPE Network Coordination Centre, VKontakte Services and others. While RUCENTER-REG-RIPN was its first registrar, now it is moved to RU-CENTER-RU.
