Gendai.net is tracked by us since April, 2011. Over the time it has been ranked as high as 4 499 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from Japan, where it reached as high as 5 455 position. It was owned by several entities, from nikkan gendai Tetsuya Masuda (t.masuda@nk-gendai.co.jp) to Kazuhiko Iwama of GMO CLOUD K.K., it was hosted by Lexues Inc, Lexues Inc. and others. While LIVEDOOR CO.LTD. was its first registrar, now it is moved to GMO Internet Group Inc. d/b/a Onamae.com.

Gendai has a high Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Gendai.net is moderately ‘socialized’ in respect to Twitter mentions (9.10K), Facebook shares (932) and Google+ shares (25). According to MyWot and Google safe browsing analytics, Gendai.net is a suspicious domain with mostly positive visitor reviews.
