Over the time it has been ranked as high as 26 349 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from China, where it reached as high as 3 058 position. It was owned by several entities, from 张东 中国共产党中央委员会对外宣传办公室 to 中共中央宣传部（国务院新闻办公室、国家新闻出版署、国家版权局、国家电影局）, it was hosted by CHINANET Shanxi(SN) province network, CHINANET Hubei province network and others.

Scio has a supreme Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Scio.gov.cn is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to MyWot and Google safe browsing analytics, Scio.gov.cn is quite a safe domain with mostly positive visitor reviews.
