Over the time it has been ranked as high as 470 999 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from India, where it reached as high as 69 694 position. It was owned by several entities, from P C Dhiman of Department of Shipping to REDACTED FOR PRIVACY of Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways, it was hosted by Asia Pacific Network Information Centre, National Informatics Centre and others.

According to MyWot and Google safe browsing analytics, Shipping.gov.in is a fully trustworthy domain with no visitor reviews.
