Taobao.net is tracked by us since April, 2011. Over the time it has been ranked as high as 26 721 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from China, where it reached as high as 2 651 position. It was owned by several entities, from Wang Xiaonan Taobao (China) Software Co. Ltd. to ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING LIMITED, it was hosted by Abovenet Communications Inc, CTI and others. While MARKMONITOR INC. was its first registrar, now it is moved to Alibaba Cloud Computing Ltd. d/b/a HiChina (www.net.cn).

Taobao has the lowest Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Taobao.net is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to Siteadvisor and Google safe browsing analytics, Taobao.net is quite a safe domain with no visitor reviews.
