Over the time it has been ranked as high as 75 461 in the world, while most of its traffic comes from China, where it reached as high as 7 606 position. It was owned by several entities, from 殷岳 上海市气象局 to 上海市气象局, it was hosted by CHINANET shanghai province network, Aliyun Computing Co. LTD and others.

Typhoon has a high Google pagerank and bad results in terms of Yandex topical citation index. We found that Typhoon.gov.cn is poorly ‘socialized’ in respect to any social network. According to Google safe browsing analytics, Typhoon.gov.cn is quite a safe domain with no visitor reviews.
